CRAVE TRAINERS

CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer, ASHLEY EYINK

On average, most natural athletes do not become great trainers. Though they rarely have difficulty picking up any movement or exercise, they typically have difficulty teaching the same fitness philosophies they practice to others. When a natural athlete has an inert desire to help others reach the same heights of fitness they have achieved, it makes for an impenetrable union between client and trainer. Loyal, dedicated and enthusiastic, Ashley has the ability to teach the fitness principles she has learned in an enthusiastic way that will keep you both motivated and on target, ensuring that as long as you have the desire and put forth the effort, you will reach your fitness goals.

Ashley does not claim the ability to teach people the need for fitness. If you do not already know the importance, you may not be the ideal client. However, Ashley is more than willing to teach the mass benefits CrossFit has to offer. She will teach you why a five minute workout could be the best workout you have ever had in your entire life, and why the hours of monotonous walking on a treadmill everyday are much less effective than 15 minutes with her. Ashley will teach you what you are capable of, no matter your previous level of success.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Marketing from Wright State University, has practiced CrossFit training for 3 years and has been a certified trainer since April 2009.

CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer, MARK CUBBERLEY

Mark Cubberley is one of the two founding members of CrossFit Crave (established August 2010) and currently holds a CrossFit Level 1 certification. As a CrossFit instructor, Mark wants to be a great coach; he appreciates what Ben Bergeron calls the “deeper side of coaching:” developing an awareness of an athlete’s potential, building trust, and creating an atmosphere of success. As a CrossFitter, Mark enjoys the pursuit of virtuosity amongst the “constantly varied, high instensity, functional movement” of CrossFit and the challenges of the “400,000 Hour Body” (maximizing health and achieving optimal fitness). When not CrossFitting/instructing, Mark is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Wright State University-Lake Campus.
